Role summary
Own member acquisition and brand growth with accurate, source-backed messaging—helping qualified pet owners understand cross-border membership without insurance framing or unverified claims.

Nationwide signup is live while clinic supply and member volume are still ramping. Marketing must drive qualified awareness in San Diego and beyond while protecting product truth and member trust.
First 6–12 month outcomes
- Launch and iterate acquisition campaigns with clear attribution.
- Maintain messaging guardrails aligned with product-truth documentation.
- Grow blog, events, and referral channels with measurable funnel metrics.
- Partner with product on landing pages, signup flows, and calculator tools.
- Establish employer brand foundations alongside the careers program.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute member acquisition campaigns across approved channels.
- Own marketing site content, blog, and campaign landing pages with engineering support.
- Maintain copy review against membership language requirements.
- Analyze campaign performance and recommend budget allocation.
- Coordinate with customer support on message alignment.
- Support community events and referral programs.
Required qualifications
- Demonstrated growth or marketing management experience for a digital product.
- Strong writing and editorial judgment.
- Experience with analytics, UTM attribution, and funnel metrics.
- Ability to collaborate with product and engineering on web experiences.
Preferred qualifications
- Healthcare, veterinary, or membership/subscription marketing experience.
- San Diego / Southern California market knowledge.
- Email marketing and marketing automation (e.g., Resend, segments).
- Bilingual English/Spanish content experience.
