1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or purchasing a membership with Paws Beyond Borders, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
2. Membership Services
Paws Beyond Borders is a membership platform that provides percentage-based coverage at partner veterinary clinics in Tijuana, Mexico. One membership covers one pet. Coverage is applied at checkout at participating clinics. Pre-existing conditions are covered; waiting periods apply for certain procedure categories (wellness, illness, surgery, orthopedic). Transportation is optional and varies by plan.
3. Billing and Cancellation
Memberships are billed monthly. The first month is $9; subsequent months are billed at the plan rate. There is a 3-month minimum commitment. You may cancel after the minimum period; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Refunds are not provided for partial months.
4. Use of Services
You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes. You may not share your membership with others, falsify information, or use the service in a way that harms us, our partner clinics, or other members. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Partner Clinics
Veterinary care is provided by independent partner clinics. Paws Beyond Borders facilitates access and coverage but is not responsible for the quality of care provided by clinics. You are responsible for your own travel and decisions regarding your pet's care.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Paws Beyond Borders is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or from veterinary care received at partner clinics. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for membership in the twelve months preceding the claim.
7. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
