Role summary
Design and implement accessible, trustworthy user experiences across member, clinic, and marketing surfaces—grounded in membership product truth and cross-border context.
Why this role matters now
The membership platform is live with member, clinic, and admin portals plus a public marketing site. Strong UX reduces confusion about membership vs insurance, supports clinic onboarding, and builds member confidence before and after cross-border visits.
First 6–12 month outcomes
- Establish design system patterns and accessibility standards across marketing and app surfaces.
- Improve core member flows: signup, pet profiles, visit documentation, and reimbursement.
- Partner with engineering on clinic portal UX for visit workflows and document uploads.
- Create reusable patterns for accurate membership messaging in UI copy.
- Support marketing landing pages and campaigns with consistent brand and truth-safe language.
Responsibilities
- Design and prototype member, clinic, and marketing experiences in Figma or equivalent.
- Implement UI in React/Next.js where appropriate (UI/UX engineer hybrid).
- Conduct lightweight usability reviews and iterate on friction points.
- Ensure WCAG-aware patterns for forms, navigation, and mobile layouts.
- Collaborate with product and engineering on feature specs and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain design documentation and component usage guidelines.
Required qualifications
- Portfolio demonstrating product UI/UX for web applications.
- Strong visual design and interaction design skills.
- Experience working with component libraries and responsive layouts.
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear user flows.
Preferred qualifications
- Front-end implementation skills (React, TypeScript, Tailwind).
- Experience in healthcare, fintech, or membership products.
- Accessibility audit or remediation experience.
- Bilingual or cross-border product context.
